The Apollo Group TV App: What to Install on Your Device
Last updated
People often search for an Apollo Group TV app expecting one branded download, but the service works a bit differently: it plays inside an IPTV player that you install yourself. On most devices that's IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate, while smart TVs, MAG boxes and Kodi each have their own options. Once the player is in and your login is typed, it gives you 21,000+ live channels and 33,000+ on-demand titles, on up to 5 devices at once.
Plans from $24.99, or $13.33/month on the yearly plan.

If you're torn, IPTV Smarters Pro is the easiest to get going the first time. On a Firestick or Android TV box it's worth setting up TiviMate for its much better TV guide. Your login works in both, so there's nothing stopping you from trying one and switching later.
Getting from order to watching
Get a plan
Choose a plan length and a number of screens in the order table. You need one screen for every device you want playing at the same time.
Install the player
The table above tells you which app suits your device, and in most cases it's in the device's own app store.
Type in your login
Choose the Xtream Codes option and enter the username, password and server address from your activation message. If the app won't accept them, check why a login fails.
A few players and devices ask for one long playlist link rather than those three fields. How that works is explained on the M3U and TV guide setup page.
What the player does once you're in
- Sorts 21,000+ live channels into categories like sports, news and kids, with a programme guide beside them.
- Lets you browse by country, from the US and Canada to the UK and Latin America (the Apollo Group TV channel list shows what each country has).
- Plays 33,000+ movies and series on demand, with pause, rewind and skip.
- Remembers your favourite channels so they're a click away.
- Works with the same login on your phone, TV and laptop.
Putting it on a Firestick
These players aren't in Amazon's app store, so on a Firestick they go in through Amazon's free Downloader app instead. You allow apps from unknown sources, install Downloader, then enter the Downloader code from your activation message. Every screen of that is in the Firestick walkthrough.
Use only the Downloader code from your own activation message. Codes posted in videos or on other websites can install somebody else's app, or a tampered copy you wouldn't want anywhere near your login.
Staying safe when you download
- Use your device's own app store whenever the player is listed there.
- On a Firestick, stick to the Downloader code or player link we send you.
- Walk away from any app that wants your login before it has even installed.
- Delete any player that asks for card or bank details. None of them need it to show channels.
App playing up?
Most of the time it comes down to the internet connection, a full app cache or a typo in the login, and none of those take long to fix. The Apollo Group TV not working guide goes through buffering, apps that won't open and channels that won't start.
If you're still stuck after that, email support@apollogrouptelevision.us with the name of your device and a photo of what's on the screen.
