Installing Apollo Group TV on Kodi
Last updated
Kodi is a free media center that runs on Windows, Mac, Android boxes, Firesticks and the Raspberry Pi. Apollo Group TV connects to it through PVR IPTV Simple Client, an add-on in Kodi's own repository. Give the add-on two links, the M3U playlist and an XMLTV guide, and Kodi builds a TV section out of them. The menus are the same wherever Kodi runs, so these steps work on any of those devices. Allow about nine minutes.
Plans from $24.99, or $13.33/month on the yearly plan.

Enable the PVR client
Go to Settings → Add-ons → My add-ons → PVR clients → PVR IPTV Simple Client and choose Enable.
- The path is the same on Kodi 19 Matrix, 20 Nexus and 21 Omega
- If it isn't listed, use Install from repository → Kodi Add-on repository → PVR clients
Point it at your playlist
Choose Configure → General, set Location to 'Remote path (Internet address)', and paste your M3U address into the playlist URL field.
Your M3U address has your username and password built into it, so look after it the way you would a password. It arrives in your WhatsApp activation message. If you think someone else has got hold of it, tell us.
Add the guide link
On the EPG tab, paste the XMLTV address we send you. Channels will play without it, but the guide stays empty.
Restart Kodi properly
Exit Kodi from the power menu rather than with the back button, then open it again. Your channels and guide appear under TV on the home screen.
