Apollo Group TV FAQ: Short Answers to Common Questions
Last updated
These are the questions we get asked most at Apollo Group Television, each answered in a sentence or two with a link to the guide that goes into detail. If you only read one line, make it this: plans start at $24.99 for 30 days, you can stream on 1 to 5 screens at once, and you watch in a player app such as IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate. The answers apply to subscriptions bought on apollogrouptelevision.us.
Plans from $24.99, or $13.33/month on the yearly plan.

- How much does it cost? From $24.99 for 30 days on one screen, down to $13.33 a month on the $159.99 yearly plan. Every package and connection count is on the Apollo Group TV prices page.
- How do I order? Pick a package and a number of connections in the plan picker and press the order button. Your choice comes to us on WhatsApp, and we reply with payment instructions.
- How can I pay? With Cash App in the US, Shakepay in Canada, or Bitcoin from anywhere. We never take card numbers, on the site or in chat.
- When do my login details arrive? They come on WhatsApp a few minutes after your payment is confirmed: username, password, server address and an M3U link.
- Is there a free trial? We don't offer one. The shortest plan, 30 days for $24.99, together with the 7-day refund window is the low-risk way to try it, as the free trial explainer sets out.
- Is this the official Apollo Group TV site? It isn't. We're an independent seller, one of many sites using the name, and our seller checklist shows how to vet any of them before you pay.
- Do prices differ in Canada? Prices are in US dollars wherever you are, and Shakepay or your bank handles the conversion. More on paying from Canada.
Devices and setup
- Which devices work? Most things with a screen: Firestick, Android phones, tablets and TV boxes, iPhone and iPad, Samsung and LG smart TVs, Apple TV, Roku, MAG boxes, Windows and Mac computers, Kodi and Enigma2 receivers. Find yours in the device install guides.
- Is there an Apollo Group TV app? There's no branded one. You watch in a standard IPTV player, and the player apps guide names the right one for each screen.
- How do I set it up on a Firestick? You install the Downloader app, enter the code from your own activation message, then install the player and sign in. The Firestick walkthrough goes through it screen by screen.
- Should I use TiviMate or IPTV Smarters? IPTV Smarters Pro is easier to start with, while TiviMate has the better TV guide on Firestick and Android TV. The TiviMate guide and the IPTV Smarters guide let you compare.
- What's the difference between Xtream Codes and M3U? Both connect a player to your plan. Xtream Codes asks for three separate fields, whereas an M3U link packs them into one address. The M3U and EPG guide explains when each makes sense.
- How many devices can I use? Install it on as many as you like. The limit is on how many stream at the same moment, which matches your connections, from 1 to 5. The connections explainer shows how that plays out at home.
Watching
- How many channels are there? Currently 21,000+ live channels from 40+ countries, plus 33,000+ movies and episodes on demand, all listed in the searchable channel list.
- Can I watch live sport? You can. American and Canadian sports networks are part of every plan, and the sports channels guide lists them with a few game-day tips.
- Is there a TV guide? There is. Most players load the programme guide (EPG) automatically, though the first load can take a few minutes.
- What internet speed do I need? Roughly 10 Mbps per HD stream and 25 Mbps for 4K, measured on the device you watch on.
- Do I need a VPN? Usually you can do without one. A VPN helps when your provider slows down streaming traffic, but it can just as easily make things slower. The VPN guide explains how to tell.
- Can I watch outside the US and Canada? It streams anywhere with a steady connection. Paying and watching from the States are covered on our US viewers page.
Account and renewal
- How do I renew? Send us your username and the plan you want on WhatsApp, then pay. The renewal steps include a ready-made message you can send.
- Do I lose days if I renew early? You don't. Any days left on your current plan are added on top of the new one.
- Does it renew automatically? It doesn't. Nothing is charged until you message us to renew, so there's never anything to cancel.
- Can I add screens later? At renewal you can change both the plan length and the number of connections, and each extra connection brings the per-screen price down, by up to 30%.
- Where do I sign in? In your player app, never on a website. The sign-in help page shows which detail goes in which field.
- Can I get a refund? You can within 7 days if it won't run on your compatible device and support can't fix it. The refund terms have the full conditions.
Problems and fixes
- Why is it buffering? The usual suspects are weak Wi-Fi, a full app cache or a busy evening on your internet connection. Go through the buffering and playback fixes in order.
- What does status code 403 mean? It means the server turned your login away, most often because the plan has ended, every screen is busy or a detail doesn't match. The status code guide covers 403, 400 and timeouts.
- My channel list is empty. What now? Reload the playlist in the player and check that the plan hasn't run out. If it's still empty, re-enter the server address exactly as it appears in your message.
- How do I reach support? By WhatsApp, by email at support@apollogrouptelevision.us or through the chat on this site. Message whenever suits you and someone will reply as soon as they're available; the customer support page has all three.
- Someone from "Apollo support" messaged me first. Is that you? Be suspicious of it. We don't start conversations with customers, and we never ask for a password or a one-time code.
