Apollo Group TV Sports: Every League, Network and Event Feed
Last updated
Sport is the biggest part of an Apollo Group Television line: 5,800+ of the channels are filed under sports, and 3,600+ of those are US feeds. That covers the national networks, dedicated NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB sections, Canada's TSN and Sportsnet, soccer, Formula 1, and 2,600+ pay-per-view and live-event feeds. Every figure on this page is counted from the channel line we sell today. It applies to subscriptions bought on apollogrouptelevision.us; other websites that use the Apollo name sell their own lines, which may look different.
Plans from $24.99, or $13.33/month on the yearly plan.

How league sections and event feeds work
Your player will show a mix of sports channel types, and it helps to know which is which before a big game:
- Always-on networks such as NFL Network, NBA TV, TSN 1 to 5 or Sportsnet ONE, which run their own schedule around the clock the way they would on cable.
- Event feeds: numbered slots inside a league section, like NFL 01 or NHL 03. They come to life for a scheduled game and sit blank or on a holding screen otherwise, and the channel name usually changes to show the matchup a little before kick-off.
- Team channels, mostly in the NBA, NHL, MLB and MLS sections, carrying a team's local broadcast when there's one on.
A black numbered feed normally just means no game has been assigned to it yet. Check back nearer the start time, or look for the game on its national network in the meantime.
NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB
In the NFL section you'll find 50+ feeds, among them NFL Network, NFL RedZone and the numbered game feeds that carry the weekend slate. The NBA, NHL and MLB sections are laid out much the same way, with the league's own network, a run of team channels and event slots that pick up live games.
Nationally televised games are on the broadcast networks too. ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX are all in the US part of the line, several with separate East and West feeds, handy when a game lands at an awkward hour on your coast.
For college sport there's the ACC Network, Big Ten Network and SEC Network, plus a college section whose numbered feeds fill up during football and basketball season.
Canadian sport: TSN, Sportsnet and the AHL
Most Canadian customers want hockey on the home broadcasters, and the line has TSN 1 to 5 and the regional Sportsnet channels (50+ feeds between them) along with a big AHL section organised team by team. Paying from Canada and the rest of the Canadian channels are covered on the Apollo Group TV Canada page.
PPV, UFC and live events
Pay-per-view is the largest single block in the line, with 2,600+ feeds spread over 31 event groups that range from US college streams to boxing and UK box-office events. Combat sports get 140+ feeds of their own on top of that, UFC Network and WWE among them, plus channels set aside for fight nights.
A further 500+ ESPN+ event feeds each carry a single live event, anything from a featured group at a golf tournament to an outside court at a tennis major.
Event feeds switch on shortly before the event starts. We can't say days in advance which numbered feed a fight or match will use, and we don't promise any particular PPV event. If something you were waiting for isn't showing at start time, message us and we'll look into it.
Game-day checklist
Find the feed early
Open the league section 20 to 30 minutes before the start and add the feed showing your matchup to favourites. In most players that's a long press on the channel.
Count your screens
Each connection is one live stream at a time, up to 5 per plan. If the whole house watches different games, check how many devices your plan covers before the big day.
Wire the main TV
Plug the living-room TV or streaming box into the router with a network cable if you can. Where that isn't possible, bring the router closer or switch to its 5 GHz network.
Have a backup feed
Big games tend to air on more than one channel. If yours starts to stutter, try the national network or the LQ (lower quality) version of the feed, which copes better with a weak connection.
When buffering only shows up at busy times, Sunday afternoons or a big fight night, your internet provider may be slowing down video traffic. Our VPN guide for streaming shows how to test for that and when a VPN is worth turning on. Any other kind of stutter is covered in the buffering and playback fixes.
